#27 Leslie North- Mom, Nurse turned CEO, Breast Cancer Survivor- "I felt like I had something to prove..."
Leslie is a leader of people and companies. She has learned to lead through humility and grace, but it wasn't always that way. Early in her career, she subscribed to the notion that she had something to prove and felt compelled to act that way. Sometimes even being perceived as a complete hardass.
As a female leader in a male-dominated industry, she certainly had to climb many mountains to get to where she is today.
Listen in as we discuss:
- Learning how to become aware of how others perceive you
- How to lead with grace, honesty, and humility
- How to build a team by allowing people to make their own mistakes
- What it Takes to Become a VP and CEO
- How to overcome obstacles at work, in life, and even with your health
